My name is Samantha Dennis and I live and work in the South Hams.
I first moved to Salcombe to work for the National Trust and from there became deeply rooted in the community. I organise local events such as Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas, am a trustee of a local charity called Activities 115, and an active member of numerous local committees (see a full list below). I have been a Town Councillor, Chairman of the Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Modbury Chamber of Commerce and am currently the District Councillor for Salcombe and Thurlestone.
I have always wanted to give back to this fabulous area and to the community that welcomed me here. Since giving birth to my son four years ago, it has become even more important to me, that we protect this special place for future generations.
